As a HeartMath certified coach, I will help you create a customized program of change, capable of transforming your physical, emotional and mental well-being simply by accessing the wisdom of your heart. The science of HeartMath uses positive emotion to achieve health and well-being through the understanding of heart/brain communication patterns. Addressing self-limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns allows for a healthy emotional stress response which will bring your mind, body and spirit into a coherent, harmonious state thus enabling transformational health, wellness and performance outcomes.

HeartMath targets positive emotions and the powerful intelligence of the heart to:

 

  • Promote secure and balanced feelings to engage the heart and slow down the mind;

  • Effectively deal with stressful situations with a healthy balanced perspective so that solutions become clearer and more accessible;

HeartMath measures Heart Rate Variability (HRV) which is the timing changes between the beats of the heart.

  • HRV reflects our ability to adapt effectively to stress and environmental demands, indicating the status of our emotional and overall wellbeing 

  • Low HRV is associated with increased risk of future heart health problems

  • HRV is affected by our negative thoughts, behaviors and actions, which increases stress and affects physical pain.

  • Coherence involves the active engagement of positive emotions and is a natural performance enhancer.
