Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT

Emotion is energy in motion. When we hold back and suppress painful emotion, the energy can get stuck and it will affect the physical body. EFT, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping, is a healing tool used to clear emotional conflicts in the mind and body by addressing the underlying energetic cause of the problem. All stress affects our energy system. EFT works to change the mind and the nervous system by changing how we act and react to stressful situations. It is a technique that utilizes meridian points to activate psychological changes in the body. EFT can make it easier to deal with the overwhelm of certain situations, silence the critical voice inside, get past events or circumstances that cause great pain, and shift negative thought and belief patterns like procrastination, self-sabotage or fear. Our belief system creates our reality.

The only way to change is to be clear and truthful when acknowledging what's actually creating stress. Addressing the fears and limiting beliefs we run from, rationalize, dismiss or ignore, opens energy channels and lets energy flow freely, giving the body the best chance to heal.  It's important not to think. The thinking that created the problem cannot solve it. Concentrate on the feelings.

Tapping helps by connecting us to our body and changes the intensity of the stressor. Tapping collar bone points will help with pain. Tune in to the body. Tapping is made to clear emotional noise. Tapping takes some of the suffering out of the pain and activates self healing mechanisms. Emotions have a huge impact on pain. Beliefs impact pain. How your brain interprets pain is what matters. Tapping on meridian points gets to core places that stress is stored in order to clear energy channels. We tap to allow emotions to pass through our body and reprogram how our brain and body reacts to stress. Tapping on negative emotions circulating in the body is key because they cannot be denied. What we resist, persists. Working through the feelings and fears gives access to true inner wisdom and guidance.

EFT can also be used to gain access to wisdom and insight. It is an excellent way to find out what is draining your energy. Self love and self worth is key to any success.
